As we enter a new month I want to take a moment for a friendly reminder… Whether this Self Care journey is new to you, or something you want to strengthen, it is crucial to remember one thing…Be Gentle with Yourself.
If you have yet to incorporate Self Care into your life…if you have meant to, but haven't had the time…if you think you don't deserve it…or even if you don't think you're doing it 'right'…please, please, please Be Gentle with Yourself.
As I discussed in the Self Compassion & Self Awareness blog, being gentle with oneself only helps, reinforces, and strengthens any task before you.
We live in a world where we are bombarded with messages of lack. We constantly are told through advertisements that - 'You need this to look better…you need that to be accepted…have more friends…a better life…" - etc. etc. etc... But here's the truth...
You Don't Need Anything…You are Enough right now in this moment.
The idea of being gentle with yourself, having compassion for yourself, accepting yourself, and believing you are enough in this moment is counter-intuitive within our society, and because of this, I will periodically remind you to Be Gentle with Yourself, which will help create a new way of thinking and viewing You.

Easy Self Care tools will assist you in reprogramming the mind from lack…to enough. As you begin this journey of self care or continue to strengthen it, I ask you to Be Gentle with Yourself…for it will only benefit your growth…mind, body, and spirit.
